Our Mission at MENA FOUNDATION
Bring happiness and well being among all human being regardless of sex, color, race, or religion. The Founders of the MENA Foundation does not collect money from any individual nor government for their needs, they used their own income to help people in needs,
We are very active in Africa and Jamaica. At this time we are in Togo (West Africa). While we are expecting our first project in togo to be completed, we have already choose the next community which is Koussountou (Tchamba) North of Togo to build schools and clinic for the community by 2016.
In 2008, MENA foundation contacted Mr. Ayivi Ablam and appointed him as the Director of Project Management (DPM) for MENA FOUNDATION in Togo to oversees and research areas of need. After several months of aggressive research and survey we discovered that the communities Avepozo, Agodeka and kpogan that development in these community were on there way, however Agbatta was not developed and needed more focus in bringing this area of Western Africa to light. Therefore we have selected the community of Agbata to conducted such project of redevelopment. The main focus will be to bring life to the community by starting small businesses, Medical Clinics and building Schools where the people of this area and surrounding areas can benefit. At the same time we will continue our efforts to support other communities, while we seek out opportunity for growth among those areas with need for improvement.
Mr Ayivi Ablam, Director of Project Management invited some folks to help him conducted the surveys which lead us the chief of the Agbata community, where our development plans were widely accepted. The community is excited about the projects that will bring awareness to there community. The people of Agbata have responded positively and are excited about how the redevelopment will shape their future as a community at large.
The foundation's questionnaire was based on five overall areas respectively :
Questionnaire:
1) Do you need a playground for your community? choose between 1-5
2) Do you need a school for children for your community? choose between 1-5
3) Do you need a community gathering place for your community? choose between 1-5
4) Do you need a community Clinic for your community? choose between 1-5
5) Do you need small businesses that will lead to Job creation? choose between 1-5
After tallying up the results of the survey, we have discovered that the people of Agbata community chose unanimously 5/5 in favor of building a clinic for their community.
The founders was pleased to purchase a land for the redevelopment projects where the plans are to build a School, Clinic and Diaspora Habitation. The founders are preparing to fly to overseas (Togo) to break ground, which will bring to life the beginning of construction. We are happy to report that the communities of Agbata and Koussountou has sent the founders of the MENA foundation well wishes for the success of the project and there travel to Africa.
